Having moved to Hong Kong at the beginning of the month..and waiting for our furniture and stuff to arrive by the slow boat to China...we totally understand your predicament of getting the balance right between buying enough things to feel comfortable and functional and yet not duplicating stuff that is on it's way! Sounds like you are having a great time...look forward to hearing more in due course!
It sounds like you two are beginning to settle in. I know your perdiciment well. We still don't really have any furniture yet, although we did pick up a free 100yr old piano and bench. My friend Nigel would be happy to help you guys if you need a local guide. He's a Maori surfer. I'm also going to try to get you to meet my friend Leonie. She works for Canada Fund and lives in Wellington too, although she's often bouncing around the Pacific for work.
